Waited hours for a tribe test doctor told me that he informed nursing staff 9 times. It took ages for pain control to be give and the pain control was inadequate. I did not feel that the staff cared and you could hear nurses gossiping at the station whilst I was in pain. They forgot I was a diabetic and did not even do a blood test. The hospital is a disgrace with many jobworth staff who have ego to boot.

You need to put the patient at the centre. We accept that the NHS is stretched but the excuses the staff are coming out with belittle the patient. The days of an illiterate population are over and patient are a lot more informed and have higher expectations than they did at the inception of the NHS. Please treat us with respect and as you would your own family members. I cannot recommend the hospital to anyone.

physio was very helpful and clear in the instructions regarding the hand exercises that he gave me to do also he made clearer to me the timescale of healing and weightbearing re wrist operation all of which was conveyed to ne in a relaxed friendly manner
